My name is Maria Karpenko.
I went a long way before finally making the decision to open a nursery.
There have always been dogs in my life, but when only one appeared, I plunged into the interesting world of cynology with pleasure and excitement.
I have a German Shepherd ABBA, with whom I train in the Gratsiano team of professionals. We passed the VN and IGP-1 standards.
I continue to expand my knowledge - I study in the specialties: cynologist-instructor and cynologist-expert.
In 2019, I was a participant in the international conference in Warsaw “Dogs in Animal Therapy and Training”
In 2020, I attended the All-Russian Scientific and Practical Congress “Canis Therapy today and tomorrow.” in St. Petersburg.

My acquaintance with the Basenji breed happened 4 years ago, at an exhibition.
I was waiting for my ring, and drew attention to a graceful, harmoniously built, aristocratic, red-haired dog with a fox muzzle and a tail twisted into a bagel, she conquered me. After this meeting, I read a lot, studied, looked for the very one ...
I got my Gera SUNNY PUPS GERBERA.

OUR PRINCIPLES

Our principle of breeding is the preservation of the breed standard and breed characteristics, the birth of a healthy dog, combining the best qualities of parents, with good anatomy and excellent psyche.

  • Which documents?

    Together with the puppy, you get an international veterinary passport, a puppy's metric of Ukrainian Kennel Union

  • At what age can I get a puppy?

    Puppies are ready to move after all vaccinations and quarantine - this is not earlier than 3 months and 2 weeks

  • Delivery to other cities?

    Delivery can be arranged personally from hand to hand, by agreement

  • Does the dog smell?

    Basenjis do not have the smell, even when wet, that other breeds usually have.

  • Is this breed trainable?

    A stock of patience is the key to success.

    Always praise and encouragement for commands given and correct behaviour.
    Physical punishment is strictly forbidden.

    A primitive breed-which the Basenji belongs to - is not meant to be misunderstood.

    Primitive-native dogs are very different from the commercial breeds, as they were formed by natural selection.These dogs are created by nature, without human intervention. They are very intelligent and quick to learn, it's just that training methods require an individual approach rather than the usual 'standard' approach.

  • Health?

    Basenjis are quite healthy.

  • Do not bark?

    Basenjis do not haveThe non-barking companion of the pharaohs was the name given to these dogs in Ancient Egypt.They do not emit the usual “woof woof”, but have signature guttural sounds.
